Dr. Vince Bustamante, Ed.D. is an instructional coach, curriculum content developer, and author who resides in Calgary, Canada. He is the co-author of two bestselling books with Corwin Press: Great Teaching by Design and The Assessment Playbook for Distance and Blended Learning. His newest book: Leader Ready: Four Pathways to Prepare Aspiring School Leaders published with Corwin Press in June of 2023. Vince was named Corwin Press’ Author Consultant of the Year for 2022 and 2023.

Vince is passionate about implementation, assessment and creating classroom environments that foster deep learning experiences where teachers understand and evaluate their impact. He has delivered keynote speeches, district wide professional learning workshops, school PD days and teacher professional learning internationally. He specializes in working with teachers, leadership teams, schools and school districts as they seek to implement high impact strategies and systems for school improvement.

Vince is a graduate of Western University’s Education Doctorate program in Leadership. His dissertation focus examined the sustainable implementation of professional learning across school districts. When he is not working, or studying you can find him hanging out with his wife Leah and their son Luca, or enjoying outdoor activities in both the summer and winter.
